Schurter Says He Offers Hope to COG Slackers

Dale Schurter has written about his amazing and mind boggling defection over to the Restored Church of God.  He claims hundreds have written to him and been restored back to wholeness by his amazing letter.  You would think that this event is the most miraculous thing to happen in the Church of God in decades.

Greetings again, everyone. As I continue to hear from people around the world, many are emailing and calling from several of the break-away groups of the WCG, in addition to folks in general. Comments indicate my letter has already helped many to see that they have slacked off in regular and heartfelt daily prayer and Bible study, among other things, and some have again committed to “get back on track.” As of this evening, my website has reached 960 cities in 40 countries. How encouraging and sobering at the same time.

He then goes on that not all comments have been warm and fuzzy.  Some disagree and he is not happy about the detractors ridiculing him. But takes it on the chin as a martyr for the truth no matter how painful..

And yes, some comments are negative, a few of them even hostile in nature. How we all long for the day “the accuser of the brethren” is no longer able to accuse the faithful daily before the throne of God. However, the vast majority of the comments are positive, including comments of appreciation to receive a “wake-up call,” and gladness to be back in touch again. Please continue to pray for all the brethren and those being called of God….yes, including those who do not yet understand in full, and strike out at others. This can be painful, but should never dissuade us from our commitment to the Father and Jesus Christ to stay the course to which we are called. Remember, “All who live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (II Tim. 3:12).

He should realize that his "detractors" see through the malarkey of his miraculous visit to Packman's HQ and how that cult is damaging hundreds of lives.  People are still shocked that he wants to be part of that kind of evil.

Some of us pray instead that ministers like Schurter would stop lying, that false prophets like David Pack and Roderick Meredith would just plain stop quit and repent of being false prophets (it seems clear Ronald Weinland will not).

We keep hoping that the Armstrongists will actually repent and abandon British Israelism and the fabricated deception of the church history fraud.

We would have expected that a decade should be enough. They all know.

But it is clear they feel completely comfortable with ignoring the warnings and discussions showing the errors of their heresies, blasphemies and idolatry. They continue to pretend it is all real, but it isn't. They have no compunctions against deliberately lying and being arrogant about it. They make it clear that no one but them counts.

Furthermore, they are all responsible for divisions at a time when they should be working to become one. This is just another egregious example of brazen divisiveness.

They have all been carefully weighed and found wanting.

Judgment, if any awaits.

And yet... they show no fear.

Right on Dougie no one escapes their past and no one escapes judgment! And their judgment is a comin' and that right soon!

Yes, indeed, 4.5 Billion years goes quicker than you might think.

I thought RCG was against blogging, except by "professionals." Has someone told Dale Schurter that yet?

MY COMMENT: Oh, God! We better hope they never become one. What a force to contend with! All the "angels of light" in one place at one time. They would have to give their allegience to one powerful, charismatic leader(no chance in hell). What deception that would be! Of course, it will NEVER happen because Satan will always be divided.Satan would have to bring up Armstrong from the grave.

If Schurter is so good at offering hope to Armstrongist Church of God slacking Laodoceans, why doesn't he do what everyone else do and start his own church?

Sorry, but The Supreme Church of God is already taken.

Oh, never mind, he's just another loser failure who is looking for someone to do the heavy lifting for him and collect the money.

How long will he be with Pack before he goes looking for greener pastures? And yes, maybe he should become a farmer instead. He had a good start with the Digester.

To clarify: In theory, they should all join back together in one body.

Steve, I'm with you!

The reality is that they should be scattered to the four winds, eight, if we could manage it -- subdivided into sub atomic particles, totally dispersed without any ability to influence anyone or anything again.

I should have qualified that.

My bad.

And have a great Friday the 13th.

"back on track" within the ACOGs has always been a euphemism for toxic and abusive.
